The MVR Search provides driving records from the State Department of Motor Vehicles. Information obtained from a motor vehicle search can include license validity, license type, driving restrictions or infractions (if any), driver history, and driving offenses. This search can also reveal misdemeanor and felony convictions for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs which are not included in the criminal histories of all jurisdictions.

Most states require a driver’s license number to retrieve driving records. The state DMV if available can also verify non-driver IDs.
